LWREA is a Local
Professional Organization and is open to
Educators from any state in the Union. As professionals, we work
together to develop individual interests, volunteer in the community
and provide emotional and educational support for
our members. We are a part of the Florida REA, the
only
organized group in
Florida that looks after your Retirement fund
monitoring quarterly meetings where investment
activities and their results are reported. FREA also
has active lobbying each year to
protect the interests of retirees
in the Florida Retirement System.
LWREA meets
the first Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
for a General Meeting on the second floor of Envision Credit Union,
North Monroe Street Branch.
